• Fightland is a brand new family crime drama set amid the world of the London boxing scene

In this brand new family crime drama, Fightland is set against the backdrop of London’s boxing scene – where brutal betrayal and unshakable ambition is not just essential in the ring.

In a dangerous world of money and power, British-born boxer Duke Kilroy is destined for greatness. But on the night he becomes a world champion, his life is ruined when his brother Calvin is viciously assaulted and dies.

Duke’s reaction lands him in a US prison for eight years – and when he gets out, he returns to the UK to seek vengeance against those he believes set him up.

Central to this is Kingsley Marshall, a criminal kingpin and former boxing promoter, who has vanished without a trace, leaving his wife Joy and his children behind to deal with the mess he’s created.

To make things even more complicated, Duke and Joy have their own romantic past.

In a risky move that takes Duke deep into London’s criminal underworld, he works alongside a cartel keen to get control of the city’s drug market.

On a mission to infiltrate Kingsley’s operation, he plans to destroy it from the inside.

But there is more than one dangerous player in this game, and Duke needs to keep his eye on the prize or end up losing himself in the process.

Will he be able to get the ultimate prize, and finally serve justice for his brother?

Gritty, brutal and unrelenting, Fightland is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and marks his first internationally produced show through G-Unit Film and Television.

The series is created, written and executive produced by Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan and Marlon Smith (Run, Save Me), with Damione Macedon and Raphael Jackson Jr. (Power, BMF, Genius: MLK/X) serving as showrunners.

Fightland will run for a total of eight episodes.

Fightland is yet to be officially rated by Sky or STARZ.

However, the series is expected to contain:

• Injury and blood (in relation to the boxing settings)

• Scenes of violence

• Use of profanity
