Entourage

Everything you need to know about Entourage

Entourage is an American comedy-drama based loosely on the life and career of Hollywood megastar Mark Wahlberg (Ted, Instant Family).
The show follows Vincent Chase, an actor from Queens, New York who is trying to further his promising career in Los Angeles, with his childhood best friends in tow.
Keeping them in line is Vincent’s hard-hitting manager Ari Gold, whose main interest is making sure Vincent gets the roles he needs while playing down any PR nightmares.
The series is entirely fiction, with Wahlberg’s story and own friendship providing the loose framework on which Entourage is based.
It takes a satirical eye on life in Hollywood and what it gives you access to.
As a result, Entourage is filled with celebrity cameos, who play sent-up versions of themselves (including Wahlberg, who is also executive producer).
First launching in July 2004, the show ran for eight seasons before ending in September 2011. It returned in 2015 for a spin-off movie.
