What is Cleaner about?
Cleaner is a high-octane thriller that sees a former soldier turned cleaner who finds herself in the middle of a hostage situation.
When a group of criminal activists take over an energy company’s annual gala in London, they aim to expose the corruption the business is based on.
However, their cause has been hijacked by an extremist who is ready to kill everyone in the building in order to deliver his message.
As this is going on, window cleaner Joey is suspended outside on a skyscraper 50 storeys in the air, and when she finds herself back on solid ground, she ends up landing right in the middle of the attack.
Now it’s up to her to save those trapped inside, among whom is her younger brother, becoming the sole connection between what’s going on and the authorities trying to negotiate their safety on the outside.
