What is Boyzone: One For The Road about?
In June 2026, Boyzone reunite for the comeback performance fans have been waiting for – as they bid a fond farewell once and for all to the stage and the band.
The iconic Irish boyband created music that defined a generation, but their split left them with unfinished business that will finally be resolved on the stage at Emirates Stadium in London.
It’s a moment many believed would never happen, and in order to document it, Ronan, Keith, Shane and Mikey have opened their lives to cameras as they prepare for their two-night residency.
After the success of 2025 Sky Original documentary series Boyzone: No Matter What, the band reconnected after years of estrangement between members. Now one-off special One For The Road allows them to finish what they started properly.
Following the group’s efforts behind-the-scenes as they prepare for the final shows of the band’s career, Boyzone: One For The Road will trace the decades of their shared personal history and tension and allow the group to get it out in the open once and for all.
In a raw and heartwarming final trip down memory lane, the special will explore the lasting bonds of friendship, cementing a legacy, and finding peace and forgiveness.
Having previously said goodbye to the band in 2019, this time they want to do it on their own terms – and in a way they, and the fans, deserve.
Hayley Reynolds, Head of Documentary Commissioning, Sky said: “Boyzone: No Matter What sparked an extraordinary outpouring of love for the band, and we’re thrilled to be working with Curious again to document this landmark reunion — something that may never have happened had the boys not approached telling their story with such honesty and candid testimony.”
