What is Body Of Proof about?

In this crime procedural, Body of Proof follows Dr Megan Hunt, a brilliant neurosurgeon who becomes a medical examiner after a car accident left her unable to operate.

However, her unmatched medical expertise makes her perfect for the position, with her findings becoming invaluable to the police as they help solve crimes. However, she doesn’t play by the rules, and often blurs the lines between her job and investigators.

But at home, her life is less clear cut, and she has a lot of work to do in order to rebuild the relationships with her family, whom she’s sidelined in favour of her career for years. Top of the list is daughter Lacey, who now lives with her ex-husband.

First premiering in 2011, the show became an instant success, raking in an average of 13 million viewers within its first season.
