What is Bob's Burgers about?
Welcome to Bob’s Burgers – a run-of-the-mill burger joint run by the Belcher family in the fictional town of Seymour’s Bay, New Jersey.
Helping Bob in the restaurant is his wife Linda, and their three kids Tina, Gene and Louise – each of them with their own unique quirks to bring to the table.
As the family navigate the ups and downs of running a family business, they’re kept company by restaurant regulars Mort, owner of the crematorium next door, and the dim-witted Teddy, a customer who has come to consider the Belchers his friends.
While Bob and Linda deal with the business, the kids work part-time while also attending Wagstaff School. Navigating the highs and lows of hormones and sibling dynamics, Tina, Gene and Louise try their best to make their way in the world – often with hilarious results.
First launching in 2011, Bob’s Burgers has become a comfort favourite for fans across the world. Across the show’s run, it has earned two Primetime Emmys for Outstanding Animated Programme.
The show has been confirmed to continue running until at least 2029.
