Operation Gold Rush with Dan Snow

Following in the footsteps of the last Klondike gold rush of the 19th century, historian Dan Snow leads an expedition to strike gold in the remote Canadian wilderness. The team sets out to retrace a 600-mile trek that was once attempted by tens of thousands hoping to claim their share of the fortune that lies buried deep beneath the frozen tundra. On their way from the coast of Alaska to the edge of the Canadian arctic, Dan, polar explorer Felicity Aston and remote environment medic Dr Kevin Fong face deadly obstacles including vast, avalanche-prone mountain ranges and icy rivers that helped derail the attempts of two out of every three previous Klondikers.
