Everything you need to know about Mare of Easttown

Marianne ‘Mare’ Sheehan was at one point a hometown hero thanks to her basketball skills as a teenager.
Now, she’s the town’s chain-vaping police detective, whose life is hanging by a thread. She’s in the middle of a divorce, her son committed suicide two years ago, and she’s now fighting for the custody of her grandson with the child’s mother, a former heroin addict.
Work is not much better, with a young girl’s disappearance a year prior proving to be unsolvable, leading many to doubt her abilities.
But when a teenage mother winds up dead, she is thrown right into the thick of it and has to solve the murder before the killer strikes again.
As the investigation continues across the seven episodes, long-held town secrets start coming to light.
