Documentary series `House of Paisley' explores the life of Protestant religious leader and loyalist politician Ian Paisley. After founding his own church in 1951, Paisley founded the Democratic Unionist Party, which he led from 1971-2008. Featuring archive footage and interviews with those close to him, the series presents a critical re-assessment of the former First Minister. Political opponents and allies, as well as journalists, reflect on how faith and politics shaped his views, as well as considering controversies surrounding his leadership, and his lasting political legacy.
