Comedian and travel guru Michael Palin gets in touch with his adventurous side with a six-month trek around the Himalayan mountain range. The programme, which first aired in 2004, takes Palin from the Khyber Pass in Pakistan to the Bay of Bengal in India, a roughly 2000-mile journey that the presenter later described thusly: "If at times it was hell, the hell was always beautiful".
