In `Al Murray's Great British Pub Quiz', the Pub Landlord star pits the UK's most passionate pub quiz teams against each other. In each episode, Al is joined by two pub quiz teams, each of them joined by a celebrity guest, to try and win the golden tankard and a cash prize. The quiz includes classic pub quiz style questions on a variety of topics, with picture rounds, mystery objects and brain teasers. `Extras' and `Mister Winner' star Shaun Williamson is show's resident barman and score keeper.
