The Hairy Bikers, otherwise known as Simon King and David Myers, are back on the road with their latest venture. In this series the pair travel up and down the country, discovering the little-known history of Britain's pubs, inns and taverns. Whilst enjoying a pint, they speak to the landlords, locals and experts to unravel the stories behind the establishments they are visiting. Watering holes featured are The Anchor, from where Samuel Pepys watched the Great Fire of London take over the city, and the pubs that frequently served the Kray Twins.
