Family heirlooms and treasures can often be forgotten and left in the corner to gather dust. In this new series, a team of skilled carpenters and metalworkers take on the challenge to reimagine the purpose and function of these objects to give them a new lease on life. In each episode, three contributors hand over their much-loved but neglected objects to a re-maker who will transform it into a new family treasure. With expertise ranging from carpentry to metalwork to textile design, the re-makers have the skills to bring any heirloom back to life.

A wooden chest proves trickier than it looks when Daisy discovers woodworm. Amanda Lamb asks the re-makers to reimagine her husband's old model ship.(S01,E15)

Titch transforms a titanium tibia, once part of its owner's leg. Woodworker Radha redesigns a trunk that transported a family's belongings from Italy in the 1950s.(S01,E13)
