Chef James Martin takes viewers along for the ride as he tours Brittany. From the picturesque fishing village of Concarnau to the popular seaside town of Dinan, and all points between, Martin explores classic French cuisine. He scours the local food markets, cheese factories and bakeries, on the hunt for the very freshest and finest ingredients with which to make his recipes, with are based on the French classics, but with a bit of a British twist. Chili crab with Asian-scented rice, cod cheeks in a local beer batter, scallops, shrimps and white wine - the menus focus on foodstuffs obtained locally, and at their freshest.
