Dr Jan Pol has been a practicing veterinarian for more than half his life. In 1981 he and his wife, Diane, opened a vet business out of their home, and over the years it has grown to service more than 19,000 clients. Set in Central Michigan's farm country, this reality series follows Dr Pol and the work done at Pol Veterinary Services. Specializing in large farm animals, Dr Pol treats horses, pigs, cows, sheep, alpacas, goats, chickens and even an occasional reindeer. The program also features Dr Brenda Grettenberger, who has worked with Dr Pol since 1992.

Episode 4Apocalypse Cow

Dr Pol treats a feisty cow with a foot problem and a puppy with a hernia. Meanwhile, Charles struggles to learn Dutch in time for his uncle's visit. (S4, ep 4)

Episode 6Barking Bad

Building begins at the clinic so the Pol crew hit the road. They face a feisty alpaca, meet two troubled cows and check out a miniature donkey's hooves. (S4, ep 6) 7+

Episode 7Talk Turkey to Me

Charles adopts three turkeys that are on the run at Thanksgiving. Dr Pol helps rehome some stray Great Danes and meets a much-loved horse with a nasty injury. (S4, ep 7)

Episode 10Pol-tergeist

Dr Pol proves he's not scared of anything as he treats angry cows and a skittish stallion on Halloween. Meanwhile, Charles has some tricks up his sleeve. (S4, ep 8)
