`Fungus the Bogeyman' is a drama adaptation of the much-loved children's picture book by Raymond Briggs. The all-star cast includes Andy Serkis as the narrator, Timothy Spall as the green bogeyman, Joanna Scanlan as his wife Mildew, Victoria Wood, Keeley Hawes, Marc Warren and Paul Kaye. The story focuses on the relationship of Fungus and his son, Mould, who one day runs away from their home in Bogeydom to explore the world at the surface. In search of their son, Fungus and Mildew must reluctantly pretend to be `Drycleaners', their word for humans that live in Daventry.
