In a rare switch for programming usually adapted from one side of the Atlantic to the other, the UK is the recipient this time around. Dick Wolf's long-running US police procedural drama gets a British tweak, as the action shifts from New York to London. Despite the change of scenery, the show's fundamental setup remains comfortably the same: the police investigate a crime in the first half, and the prosecutors go after the offenders in the second half. The only major differences are the accents and white wigs.
