Micro Monsters

Taking viewers deep into the world of bugs, Sir David Attenborough utilises pioneering macroscopic techniques to explore in unparalleled detail the intricate, sophisticated behaviours of these creatures and the complexity of the environments they build and inhabit, normally a world hidden from the human eye. Each of the three episodes explores a different aspect of the little-known lives of insects, from the deceptive defensive mechanisms harboured by spiders and scorpions to the creation of colonies and how social arrangements develop.
