`Emergency: First Time Medics' takes an honest look at the drama of A&E from junior doctors' perspectives. It follows the real-time shifts of newly-qualified doctors at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, offering insight into how it feels to be at the sharp end of a demanding medical role. Cameras capture junior doctors, known as Senior House Officers (SHOs), as they are thrown into the deep end during their year-long placement on the challenging NHS frontline.
