'Becoming Orangutan' is a nature documentary series that dives into the world of Orangutan Jungle school, a rehabilitation clinic for orphaned orangutans located in Borneo, Indonesia. Due to environmental pressures and climate change, young orangutans are left without adult role models from whom they can learn how to survive. Trained human carers at the Jungle School nurture and teach survival skills in a curriculum that follows the apes from nursery through to high school in an emotional journey through the stages of growing up.
