`The Repair Shop' is a Ricochet production for the BBC which follows a workshop where broken or damaged family heirlooms are brought back to life. Furniture restorers, horologists, metal workers, ceramicists, upholsterers and other skilled craftsmen of all types are brought together to work in one space to restore much-loved possessions to their former glory. Many of these items have incredible stories behind them and a unique place in history.
Episode 1. The team take on an antique skeleton clock and a giant teddy bear.
Episode 2. The team tackle a pocket-sized racing car, a weather vane, and a leather rhinoceros.
Episode 3. The team work on a ceramic dish, a handmade doll’s house and a vintage harmonium.
Suzie and Julie are tasked with restoring an unusual leather rhinoceros. Dominic works on a rusty weathervane, while Steve revamps a little racing car. S4, Ep3
Episode 4. The team restore an antique set of scales and a military swagger stick.
