`The Repair Shop' is a Ricochet production for the BBC which follows a workshop where broken or damaged family heirlooms are brought back to life. Furniture restorer and presenter Jay Blades hosts as fellow furniture restorers, horologists, metal workers, ceramicists, upholsterers and other skilled craftsmen of all types are brought together to work in one space to restore much-loved possessions to their former glory. Many of these items have incredible stories behind them and a unique place in history.

Episode 24. A 100-year-old shipping log charting the bravery of a seafarer is restored.
Episode 25. A brass horn that once belonged to a prankster postman brings amusement to the barn.

Episode 27. The team’s busy to-do list includes a metal breadcrumb maker and a stuffed toy lamb.
Episode 28. The team revives a ukulele owned by a music-loving family and a 1960s flip-over clock.
Episode 29. A solo mum brings her cherished family crib to be lovingly restored for her baby.
Episode 30. On the team’s worksheet is a worn-out suitcase from Ukraine and a cherished baby doll.
