Dave's panel comedy show `Hypothetical' tests two teams of comedians on their ability to cope with a series of hypothetical scenarios. Comedian Josh Widdicombe poses the titular hypothetical questions, such as `You have to take a selfie with Nicholas Cage within 48 hours or you die.' How do you do it? which lead to an entertaining discussion, with in-studio stunts and even the odd celebrity cameo. The questions are spread over three rounds, requiring the guests to think quickly and come up with witty responses to the interrogation. The second host, James Acaster, ensures that ridiculous rules are enforced, and scores the guests' attempts at dealing with the hypothetical situations, a perfect combination of hosts and scenarios to guarantee a comedic work-out.
