Based on the 2018 Swedish crime drama of the same name, `Before We Die' follows Bristol-based Detective Inspector Hannah Laing, played by Lesley Sharp, who launches a manhunt when her married lover and fellow police officer Sean Hardacre goes missing. However, as the investigation proceeds she discovers some secrets about her troubled son Christian, played by `The OA's Patrick Gibson, and the underworld ambitions of Croatian family begin to be revealed.
