Top British chefs originating from various regions across the UK compete to produce a menu that is served at a prestigious banquet for special events and prominent guests. Each week, chefs compete in a regional heat where they devise a four-course menu, comprising of a starter, fish course, main course and dessert, all scored daily by a veteran chef. At the end of the week, the two highest-scoring chefs are evaluated by a panel composed of expert judges. The winners move on to the final national heat which decides whose menu comes out on top.
