An exploration of areas in the world with great wetlands, showcasing the extraordinary biodiversity of the areas, where the water plays a vital role in the survival of the animals that live there. As well as being a great source of growth and natural life, the waters and earth can be treacherous. The ever-changing landscape challenges the fate of its inhabitants, which in turn shapes their unique behaviours. Cameras scour the wetlands of Kaziranga, Pacaya Samiria, Bay of Fundy, Kinabatangan and Loango.

In Canada, in the Bay of Fundy, a unique marine environment is found, where the giants of the sea delight in plankton and krill.

Episode 2Kazirangan: Tears of Himalaya

The Kaziranga National Park in India is subject to extreme water cycles. In its high, dense grasses, tigers and one-horned rhinoceros still thrive.

Documentary series looking at the remarkable biodiversity found in wetland regions. Elephants, hippopotamuses and gorillas live in the Loango National Park in Gabon.

Episode 4Kinabatangan

Series looking at the remarkable biodiversity found in wetland regions. In the Sabah region of Malaysia live forest rhinoceroses, orangutans and pygmy elephants.

Episode 5Pacaya Samiria

At the gates to the Amazon hides a remarkable world called the 'jungle of the mirrors', where pink dolphins, giant otters, jaguars and spider monkeys are found.
