Five pairs of travellers participate in an epic race that will take them through many countries. However, there is a catch, the pairs cannot take planes, must leave behind their smartphones and credit cards, and will not have access to the internet. Provided only with the cash equivalent of their airfare from their starting destination to the finishing line, they must find innovative ways to manage their budget and conduct their journey. If they run out of money, they must earn some more to continue the journey. The duos must also pass through a number checkpoints along the way.

The teams race to reach Sanya, one of China's most southerly cities. Contains some strong language.

The pairs race from the island checkpoint of Sanya to the mysterious Shangri-La. Contains some strong language.

The teams discover that their next destination is one of the world’s oldest living cities. Contains some strong language.

Episode 5Episode 5

The teams face a journey of 1,500km to the fifth checkpoint, McLeod Ganj, northern India. Contains some strong language.

Episode 6Episode 6

Four teams have successfully made it to the fifth checkpoint, McLeod Ganj. Contains some strong language.

Episode 7Episode 7

The four remaining teams need to reach the seventh checkpoint - Panaji, Goa. Contains some strong language.

Episode 8Episode 8

The four teams are about to embark on the final leg of the race. Contains some strong language.

Episode 9The Reunion

The five pairs meet for the first time since returning home.
