Five pairs of travellers participate in an epic race that will take them through many countries. However, there is a catch, the pairs cannot take planes, must leave behind their smartphones and credit cards, and will not have access to the internet. Provided only with the cash equivalent of their airfare from their starting destination to the finishing line, they must find innovative ways to manage their budget and conduct their journey. If they run out of money, they must earn some more to continue the journey. The duos must also pass through a number checkpoints along the way.

Travellers race across the world without smartphones, internet access or credit cards.

Episode 2Episode 2

The teams cross their first border into South Korea.

Episode 3Episode 3

The teams enter south east Asia, starting the third leg from the Vietnamese capital Hanoi. Contains some strong language.

Episode 4Episode 4

The teams are starting from the third checkpoint in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Episode 5Episode 5

The teams must navigate the length of Thailand to reach the next checkpoint - Koh Phi Phi.

Episode 6Episode 6

After leaving the islands of Koh Phi Phi, the teams face a giant leap into the unknown.

Episode 7Episode 7

The teams must travel through the populous, rarely-visited Indonesian island of Sumatra.

Episode 8The Final

The teams embark on the final leg of their Race Across the World from Jakarta to Lombok.

Episode 9The Reunion

The five intrepid teams reunite in London six months after their race across the world.
