Belfast based drama `Blue Lights' follows new police recruits Grace, Annie, and Tommy, as they learn the ropes in a high-pressure environment. Grace is a former social worker who has decided to switch careers in her forties, Annie has had to leave everything she knows behind, and Tommy finds it challenging to be on the frontline. The team deal with divided communities, criminal gangs, and struggle to know who to trust, all while wondering if they have made the right choice in joining the PSNI.

Belfast police probationer Grace Ellis has her resolve tested when she tries to help a fellow single mother whose son has fallen in with a notorious gang.

Episode 2Bad Batch

The team scrambles to deal with a bad batch of drugs, while the McIntyres try to cover their tracks. Annie receives terrifying news that has her wondering who she can trust.

Episode 3The Fear

Grace investigates the punishment shooting of a young McIntyre drug runner, and her old skills as a social worker help get the evidence she needs.

Episode 4Full Moon Fever

A disastrous night shift leaves the station under investigation. Grace doubts her career choice after Cal is arrested for resisting a racially discriminatory stop and search.

Episode 5The Q Word

Mo McIntyre's grand plan to dig up an ancient stash of paramilitary weaponry gets under way, but he is unaware that he is already under surveillance and that MI5 are onto him.

Episode 6Love the One You Are With

After the shooting, the recruits are determined the McIntyres will pay. Stevie goes to arrest the MI5 operatives - but Joseph orders Jonty to let them go free.
