Following his acclaimed series `Equator' and `Tropic of Capricorn,' author and adventurer Simon Reeve completes his exploration of the tropics with the Tropic of Cancer, the line that marks the northern border of Earth's tropical region. The point of the journey, he says, is to visit places rarely seen by foreigners, let alone TV crews. He makes tracks in 18 countries, beginning on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, heading east across the Caribbean, to North Africa, then through the deserts of Arabia and the remote jungles of Asia, and finally finishing in Hawaii.
