Blockbusters

Contestants, one solo player and one team of two, compete for prizes in this quiz show presented by Simon Mayo. The game board features 20 interlocking hexagonal blocks, each containing a letter of the alphabet. Contestants select a letter and are asked a trivia question whose correct answer begins with that particular letter. A correct answer gives the player the chance to control that block and select another one. An incorrect answer, however, gives opponents the chance to give the correct answer to that question. The single player is aiming to connect blocks vertically across the screen, while the team tries to connect blocks in a line horizontally. The first player or players to connect the blocks wins the game.
