Harlee Santos, a detective from a tight-knit group of Brooklyn cops with questionable tactics, is arrested by an FBI agent who wants her to be an informant.

Harlee struggles under the pressure of acting as an informant on her crew - when Wozniak worries about a mole, she suggests putting everyone through a lie detector test.

As the FBI put pressure on Harlee, she refuses to provide any incriminating evidence on Matt - but she does mention teammate Tess's suspicious role in a murder investigation.

Harlee's attempt to feign co-operation with Stahl backfires when he finds incriminating evidence. Loman crumbles under the guilt of shooting an unarmed suspect.

When Harlee and Tess intercept a drug lord's shipment, he reveals he has some dirt on Wozniak and threatens to use it. Stahl becomes more invasive.

Harlee visits an ex-lover imprisoned for a murder he says he didn't commit - and he wants her to find out who framed him. Wozniak thinks he's caught the mole in his crew.

With Saperstein's life hanging in the balance, Harlee struggles to protect him from Wozniak, who is torn between his conscience and a need to finish the job.

Harlee realises there are no lines Wozniak will not cross, and decides to help Stahl. The crew retaliates against a pair of cops for harassing Harlee's daughter.

Wozniak takes Harlee on a pick-up - but the 'package' is not what she was expecting. A mysterious call to forces the crew to face their mixed feelings about Saperstein.

Harlee and Wozniak secure more information on the big score, which turns out to be an armoured truck heist. Wozniak takes interest in a fellow veteran suspected of murder.

The day of the armoured truck heist arrives, although when Harlee realises that Stahl is not to be trusted, the plan is interrupted and the strategy has to be changed.

In the fallout of the failed heist, Harlee approaches the FBI with an offer to recover the money and also give up her crew - but it may prove more difficult than she thought.

Harlee is unable to hand Donnie and Linklater over to the FBI, so she makes a deal with Stahl to exchange her own immunity for that of her crew.
