From removing a dog's cancerous tumour to dealing with an injured hedgehog or operating on an enormous lizard, the series gives viewers a fresh perspective on the challenges the veterinary team faces on a daily basis. Cameras capture everything from the consultations to operations and there is also a good dose of behind the scenes banter.
