Sky's Network Resilience and Security
Sky understands that our customers expect an excellent Sky Broadband and Sky Talk service that is always available, reliable and secure.
Our network is constantly monitored and has been designed to ensure that any problems are identified as soon as possible so we can prevent any faults which may affect the availability of your service. If any unforeseen problems happen we will take immediate action to restore service and minimise the impact on our customers. We are always looking for ways to improve the availability experienced by our customers.
Sky has also put into place a number of controls to prevent and detect any risks to the security of the network so that we can protect our customers confidential data. In the unlikely event of any incidents occurring we have a comprehensive process in place to ensure a satisfactory conclusion is reached.
Sky is fully committed to both industry and legal requirements and will notify breaches of availability or security to Ofcom and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) where necessary. We are also committed to meeting the requirements defined by the Payment Cards Industry (PCI) to protect credit card details of customers.
