Sky Mobile Watch

Did you know, with Sky Mobile you can stream Sky apps, like Sky News, Sky Sports, Sky Go and more without using your data?

How it works

You don't need to do anything, just start watching content on any Sky app on your mobile device.

Sky apps include:

  • Sky Go app
  • Sky News app
  • My Sky app
  • Sky+ app
  • Sky Kids app
  • Sky Store app
  • Sky Sports app
  • Sky Sports Box Office app

Don't have Sky TV? If you've got Sky Mobile but you don't have Sky TV, you can watch content from Sky apps that don't require a subscription (like Sky News), without using your data.

You need at least 50MB of data available in your allowance to use Sky Mobile Watch. If you haven't got enough, you'll need to add more before you can watch Sky shows and movies.

To top up your data:

Sky app use (streaming and downloading) within the UK only. The Sky apps and content you can access will depend on whether you're a Sky TV customer and what Sky TV package you have. Streaming adverts before and during on demand content, and watching ads within some Sky apps might use your data allowance. See the 'Sky TV subscription' section below for more information.

Start watching in 3 easy steps

1. Download or open the Sky Go app on your compatible Sky Mobile phone or tablet.

2. Sign in with your Sky iD.

3. Start watching your favourite shows when you’re out and about, without using your mobile data.

Only shows with the Sky Go logo are available to watch or download.

Mobile data usage showing in your device settings

Sky apps, like Sky Go, will still show as using mobile data in your device settings. But don’t worry, this won’t come out of your monthly plan. It’s just streaming adverts that might use up some of your data allowance as explained in 'Sky TV subscription' below.
