Sky Mobile Watch

Did you know, if you’re a Sky TV customer with Sky Mobile, you can watch Sky TV and use any Sky apps on the go without using your data? Plus, you get Sky Go Extra at no extra cost, so you can download on demand programmes to watch later.

You don't need to do anything, just start watching content on any Sky app.

Sky apps include:

Sky+ app, Sky Go app, Sky Cinema app, Sky VR app, My Sky app, Sky Store app, Sky Kids app, Sky News app, Sky Sports app, Sky Sports Mobile TV app and the Sky Sports Box Office app

Don't have Sky TV? If you've got Sky Mobile but you don't have Sky TV, you can watch content from Sky apps that don't require a subscription (like Sky News), without using your data.

Useful info & tips

You need at least 50MB of data available in your allowance to use Sky Mobile Watch. If you haven't got enough, you'll need to add more before you can watch Sky content.

To top up your data:

The Sky apps and content you can access will depend on whether you're a Sky TV customer and what Sky TV package you have. Data roaming charges apply outside of Europe (the EU/EEA). Streaming adverts before and during on demand content, and watching ads within some Sky apps might use your data allowance. See the 'Sky TV subscription' section below for more information.

Start watching in 3 easy steps

1. Download or open the Sky Go app on your compatible Sky Mobile device.

Download the Sky Go app from the App Store
Download the Sky Go app from Google Play
Download the Sky Go app from AppGallery

2. Sign in with your Sky iD.

3. Start watching your favourite shows when you’re out and about, without using your mobile data.

Only shows with the Sky Go logo are available to watch or download.

Mobile data usage showing in your device settings

Sky apps, like Sky Go, will still show as using mobile data in your device settings. But don’t worry, this won’t come out of your monthly plan. It’s just streaming adverts that might use up some of your data allowance as explained in 'Sky TV subscription' below.

Still need a hand?

Like most businesses in the UK we’re still not back up and running as normal. We have less people in our offices due to social distancing so we’re not able to offer our full services and wait times may well be longer as calls are being prioritised for our most vulnerable customers and those who have already been online.
