Sky Go accessibility features

It's important to us that everybody finds our products easy to use. Sky Go is no exception. Designed with usability in mind, it's easy to find your way around using the tabbed menu at the bottom of the screen to move between sections.

It'll also:

  • Make text bigger, in line with the font size you've chosen in your device's accessibility settings.
  • Support any high contrast settings you've set up on your device.
  • Work with Zoom (Apple) and Magnifier (Android).
  • Play well with VoiceOver (Apple) and TalkBack (Android) screenreaders. Media player controls are fully accessible.

To find out how to use Sky Go with VoiceOver or TalkBack, check out our Navigating Sky Q guide. You'll also find info on how to use voice control to help you make the most of Sky Q on there too.

Subtitles and audio description

Subtitles are available for On Demand content in the Sky Go app on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac devices. Unfortunately, they're not available on live content or on consoles at the moment. To learn more, read our guide to switching on subtitles.

While audio description isn't available for Live or On Demand shows on Sky Go right now, Apple users can watch recordings with audio description. Follow our step-by-step guide on switching on Audio Description to find out how.
