Presented by Kevin McCloud, this series showcases a wide variety of homes that have been shortlisted for the annual RIBA House of the Year award. Travelling across the whole of the United Kingdom, McCloud visits a number of architectural masterpieces, and also meets some of the residents and design teams that helped to create them. Throughout the series, McCloud uses his years of experience to critically analyse the properties, and to identify the latest trends in the construction industry. At the end of each season, the winner of the prestigious award is revealed.
