In this three-part documentary series, Joanna Lumley goes on the world-renowned journey via the Trans-Siberian railway. The 6400 mile trip, which travels from east to west, begins in Hong Kong - where Lumley spent most of her childhood - and ends in Moscow's Central Station. Over the distance, Lumley passes through seven time zones, taking in the changing landscapes, languages and cultures. The presenter hops on and off the train to meet people across the three continents where she learns about the history, politics, customs and modern-day communities in each area.
