Former Principal of the Royal Ballet Dame Darcey Bussell embarks on a road trip around Britain in celebration of the places that mean so much to the Queen. Darcey begins her journey in the Scottish Highlands, where she revels in the dramatic landscape and finds out what it's like to live near the Queen's beloved royal residence, Balmoral. In later episodes Darcey visits Richmond Park in London, where the Queen spent the first year of her life, Sandringham estate in Norfolk, and the forests of Monmouthshire.

Episode 1The Scottish Highlands

Darcey begins her royal road trip at the Highland Games in Balmoral, before sampling royal whisky and attempting a dance at the Ghillies Ball.

Episode 2London and the South East

Darcey visits Richmond Park's hunting lodge, goes racing at Ascot and is shown around some of the Queen's favourite West End haunts.

Episode 3Norfolk

Darcey meets the members of the Sandringham Women's Institute who knew the Queen personally and learns how to become a horse whisperer.

Episode 4Wales and the West Country

Darcey's adventure concludes in Wales where she visits St David's Cathedral and a royal gold mine in Snowdonia. Last in series
