Homeowners across Britain try to complete do-it-yourself home projects on their own. But sometimes, they need help finishing the work. That's where presenter Nick Knowles and his team of designers and builders step in. They help homeowners complete their DIY projects gone awry.

Episode 1Scunthorpe

Nick Knowles and a band of volunteers renovate the home of Caroline Blanchard, a place that has been the site of two heart-wrenching tragedies.

Episode 2Carbis Bay

Nick Knowles and the team enlist the help of hundreds of volunteers to renovate the home of three orphaned boys living with their grandparents in Carbis Bay, Cornwall.

Episode 3Weston-super-Mare

Nick Knowles meets the Sweet family in Weston-Super-Mare, whose three children have been diagnosed with rare illnesses and will soon be full-time wheelchair-users.

Episode 4Barnstaple

Nick Knowles and the team head to Barnstaple to create a home dialysis centre for a family, saving them from making daily four-hour round trips to hospital.

Episode 5Bangor

For the first time ever, the DIY SOS team head to Bangor in Northern Ireland, the childhood hometown of our build manager Mark Miller, to help the McCreight family.

Episode 6Corby

The team are in Corby to complete a build for Jackie, Colin and their three children, one of whom suffers from cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
