Homeowners across Britain try to complete do-it-yourself home projects on their own. But sometimes, they need help finishing the work. That's where presenter Nick Knowles and his team of designers and builders step in. They help homeowners complete their DIY projects gone awry.

Episode 1Arundel

Nick Knowles meets a West Sussex wife and mother-of-four who was paralysed in a bicycle accident in the summer of 2015, and needs her home adapting for her wheelchair.

Episode 3West Bromwich

Nick Knowles and the team, together with West Bromwich volunteers, help a grieving grandmother and her family who are making do in a very small house.

Episode 4Avening

The team helps project manager Ben in Avening in the Cotswolds, whose life was changed in a split second by a freak accident while holidaying in Cyprus.

Nick Knowles meets a husband, father and football fan who was brain damaged in an attack, and now needs his home adapted for his care and rehabilitation.

Episode 7Grenfell Boxing Club

Nick Knowles and the team are constructing two buildings for the Grenfell community, starting with a new home for the Dale Youth Boxing Club.
