Malcolm is still hanging on by a thread – but as his parents' anniversary party looms, it’s only a matter of time until he snaps. Watch only Disney+ via Sky now.

It’s been 20 years since Malcolm in the Middle last appeared on our screens – but this family is just as manic as ever.

Malcolm has quietly distanced himself from his parents and siblings to build as calm a life for himself as possible. However, his neurotic behaviour has rubbed off on his now-teenage daughter Leah, who is anxiety-ridden and finds it hard to make friends.

Hal and Lois have something extra special to celebrate. With their 40th anniversary coming up, they decide now is the perfect time to throw a party – and they want to make sure everyone they love is there.

Which is easier said than done when Malcolm has put a string of defences in place to make sure he spends as little time with his family as possible.

Here’s how the season plays out.
