How it works

  1. Get in touch to let us know you want to return something.
  2. Securely package your item(s) up - use the original packaging if possible.
  3. Request a pre-paid returns label.
  4. Take the package to your local Post Office or Collect+ store.
Remember:

You only need to return your Sky equipment if we’ve asked you to. If something’s not working properly, try our Help guides to troubleshoot the problem. Or you can speak to one of our experts if you're still having problems.

Equipment that’s not returned

Sky Q and broadband equipment

If you’ve got Sky Q or started a new Sky Broadband subscription after 4 March 2020, your kit is loaned to you. So, when you leave, you’ll need to return it to us. You can hang on to it, but you’ll pay a Non-return fee.

Replacement Sky hubs If you’ve received a replacement Sky hub, you'll need to return the old one. Just use the box that your replacement hub came in, and follow the instructions printed inside. Then drop it off at a local Post Office or Collect+ store.

Need some returns packaging?

You can reuse the box any new equipment came in. If you don’t have that to hand, you can use any other packaging as long as it’s secure and you include a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment included. For Sky Q or Sky Broadband returns, when you start your return, we’ll send out returns packaging.

Reasons for returns

You’ll need to return your old Sky equipment, including any remotes and accessories, to us if:

  • You’re upgrading or downgrading your subscription or Sky Broadband hub.
  • You’re leaving Sky altogether.
  • You're returning your item for a refund.
  • Your equipment is broken, and we’ve asked you to return it to us in exchange for a replacement.
  • We’ve sent you a new hub because you changed or upgraded your Sky Broadband.

Sky dish

The Sky dish belongs to you as per the terms and conditions. It doesn’t need to be returned. To recycle your dish, see Recycling your old Sky equipment. Dish removals isn’t something we offer and would need to be arranged with a dish removal company.
