Written by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, the duo behind the original 1970s version of `Porridge', this series follows Nigel `Fletch' Fletcher as he serves time in Wakeley Prison. Played by actor and comedian Kevin Bishop, Fletch is the grandson of Ronnie Barker's legendary character Norman Stanley Fletcher, and he is in prison for committing a number of cybercrimes. As well as spending time trying to avoid the attention of the prison guards, Fletch also has to contend with a number of unpredictable and hot-headed inmates.
