Season 4 Recap

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives picks up a few months after an explosive season reunion which left Demi Engemann in tears and fractured from the group.

Episode 1 - The Book of Taking Flight

There’s some new additions to MomTok with the arrival of Jen, Mayci and Mikayla’s baby girls – Penny, Lottie and Charli. To celebrate, the girls throw a “sip and see” to introduce them to the group.

Meanwhile, Jordan and Jessi’s marriage is hanging on by a thread, while Jordan declares himself the “Leader of DadTok” and arranges for the guys to head to London for a stay at Vanderpump Villa. But with Marciano likely there and Jordan still sore about Jessi’s betrayal, how many of them will think it’s a new idea?

With Taylor continuing to try and get over Dakota, she finds a new connection thanks to, of course, TikTok.

Episode 2 - The Book of Secrets

Taylor’s Bachelorette announcement awkwardly aligns with her bringing her new crush to Utah for the first time.

The boys return from their time at Vanderpump Villa, but are all acting bizarrely tight-lipped about what happened there… so it’s up to the girls to get one of them to crack.

As Jen and Whitney prepare for Dancing With the Stars in LA, Demi and Jessi take a step towards healing their friendship after their major fallout, but will it be possible for them to bury the hatchet and move on, or are their wounds too deep?

Episode 3 - The Book of True Colors

As the season three reunion taping looms, things begin to get heated as Demi and the girls prepare to confront each other about what’s happened in their past.

Taylor decides to make some switch-ups after a discovery about Dakota, and Mayci is left unnerved by Jacob’s new close friendship with Chase.

As Chase has a sitdown with Mayci and Mikayla, will he be able to win them over after years of hostility and online jabs?

On the day of the reunion, tensions are running high, causing explosive arguments that could spell the end of MomTok as we know it.

Episode 4 - The Book of Exodus

One member of MomTok goes missing in action after the reunion, leaving her future on the show in doubt.

The rest of the girls club together to support Whitney and Jen as they prepare for their debut on Dancing With The Stars.

But as the gang rent out an LA mansion, and Jordan decides to invite Dakota to join them, Mayci decides to step in with a “distraction” in a bid to keep Taylor’s mind off him.

Episode 5 - The Book of Power and Pain

MomTok and DadTok are left reeling after a night at the mansion has some unintended consequences.

As Taylor and Dakota figure out their dynamic, Mayci is left hurt by Jessi when she finds out that she’s chosen a podcast appearance over her book launch.

With tensions still running high, the Truth Box is brought out to bring some of their issues to light in an attempt to resolve them, but will it work?

Episode 6 - The Book of Conceit

As the gang returns to Utah, Taylor faces a reckoning with her mother once she finds out what happened – leading to a big decision to help mend their relationship.

Whitney is offered a new lifelong dream opportunity, but the pressure of another project on her plate pushes her to an overwhelming breaking point.

Mayci prepares for her book launch, and is looking for support from the girls, but is left disappointed when not everyone shows up.

Episode 7 - The Book of Fragile Egos

Taylor shares some major news to her parents about her research into her biological family.

With The Bachelorette getting closer by the day, she hopes to find some closure from her past, but her mission for more answers pushes Liann out of her comfort zone.

Jen and Zac discuss what lies ahead in their future and whether they should stay in Los Angeles, as they adjust to switching roles within their family dynamic.

Mayci decides to throw a Momtok vs Dadtok pickleball tournament in her garden to bring the gang together, inviting group friend Shania to join them.

Episode 8 - The Book of Unearthing

Taylor and Liann arrive in Colorado to confront long-buried elements of their past in a bid to get answers for the future. But the truths that come to light prove to be hard to stomach for both of them, making Taylor have to decide what’s more important to her.

While she’s away, the girls head to a music festival, where the identity of Dakota’s secret fling is revealed to the group, leaving some of them stuck in the middle of the mess.

Convinced he’s trying to sabotage Taylor’s upcoming stint on The Bachelorette, the girls hold crisis talks about what to do with the new information – and whether to tell Taylor.

Episode 9 - The Book of Coveting

MomTok goes into crisis mode with several marriages, friendships and relationships hanging by a thread as new truths spill out.

The girls attend Mayci’s Sinners Sunday event, but everyone is on edge as they await for a dramatic bomb to go off.

Meanwhile, Jace and Mikayla open up to their friends about their struggle to connect, Jessi informs Jordan about a choice for her professional career, while Jen and Whitney’s friendship fractures as pressure around their Dancing With The Stars stints heats up.

Episode 10 - The Book of Thorns and Roses

It’s the day Taylor flies off to do The Bachelorette but a reckless last minute decision leaves the entire plan in doubt.

With her family and friends both running out of patience with Taylor’s behaviour, she needs to decide what’s more important to her and her future. But there’s something else that could derail it completely.

Jace and Mikayla make a decision about their marriage, while things go from bad to worse between Whitney and Jen.
