The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is a reality show that follows a group of women who shot to fame on TikTok for their dance routines and performances.

Based in Utah, all of the ‘MomTok’ women were raised in the Mormon faith, though some have since left the church.

Leading the pack is Taylor Frankie Paul, whose confession to ‘soft-swinging’ with her ex-husband in 2022 set the internet ablaze. Since then she has split from him but has struck up a difficult relationship with Dakota – with whom she has a son.

As they all try to navigate complicated family lives, friendships and fame, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives captures the ups and downs of all of it – from arrests to fertility issues, pregnancies and births, as well as ongoing difficulties to co-parent with ex-partners.

Through their eyes, the MomTok group try to stick together, but with friendships fracturing quickly, it’s a lot easier said than done… especially when fame and opportunity knocks at some of their doors.

The series first launched in 2023 and has become a huge international hit for reality show fans. The series is now in its fourth season.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has run for four seasons as of March 2026, totalling 38 episodes.

Season one ran for eight episodes, before it was bumped to 10 episodes for every season going forward.

Seasons two, three and four all also have chat-show format reunion specials to discuss what happened in the episodes past.

Season five, which will also run for 10 episodes, has already been confirmed.

Bret Engemann (Demi’s husband) has a reduced role in season four.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’s official rating in the UK is 15 for the complete run, meaning it has been deemed unsuitable for younger audiences.

This is due to:

• Frequent prominent discussions around sex and sex acts

• Complex discussions around the Mormon faith, and going against it

• Real scenes of a domestic violence arrest

• Frequent use of profane language

• Some minor scenes of nudity

• Real discussions around mental health – particularly pre-and-postpartum

• Frequent fiery arguments some may find upsetting

• Discussions around trauma and abuse, including child abuse
