Twelve amateur bakers compete against each other to win the title of Greatest British Baker in the successful series `The Great British Bake Off'. Each round sees an aspiring baker eliminated, until finally the winner gets selected from the remaining contestants. Their skills on all the baking essentials like cakes, breads, pastries and desserts are tested in each round, and the difficulty increases as the competition unfolds. The judges are set to taste all the goods created carefully by the contestants, and the audience is able to follow all the trials and tribulations with a wholesome twist.

Episode 5Spice Week

Paul and Prue set the remaining bakers a classic teatime Signature. Then, they spice things up with an Arabian Technical and a fiddly Showstopper. S9, Ep5

Episode 6Pastry Week

Paul and Prue are looking for pastry perfection. The bakers make savoury and sweet samosas, a classic French Technical, and a daunting majestic pie fit for a banquet. S9, Ep6

Episode 7Vegan Week

It's a series first with vegan week! The bakers are challenged with a savoury pastry signature without butter and a risky but spectacular Showstopper. S9, Ep7

Episode 8Danish Week

The bakers mark Danish Week with a bread Signature requiring style and substance. There's a spherical Technical and a pastry Showstopper fit for a Danish birthday party. S9, Ep8

Episode 9Semi-Final: Patisserie Week

Semi Final. The remaining bakers are just three patisserie challenges from the final. There are Signature Madeleines and a Showstopper made of three pastries. S9, Ep9

Episode 10The Final

Paul and Prue set three challenges to test the finalists' skills. They include making iced doughnuts and an intricate, multi-layered landscape Showstopper. S9, Ep10
