Sisters Sharon and Tracey have absolutely nothing in common - until the day their husbands are sent to prison for armed robbery. Sharon moves out of her dreary council flat and into wealthy Tracey's palatial home in the suburbs. As the women get on with their lives and their husbands serve their sentences, they find help and hindrance in equal parts from Tracey's man-eating neighbour, Dorien, a married, middle-aged woman who has frequent affairs with younger men.

The chicks from Chigwell. Tracey has a bad week. Sharon is too ill to work, Dorien falls out with her over a man, and Garth will not leave home.

Sisters are doing it for themselves in Chigwell! Sharon and Tracey decide to start a cleaning business, but the bank is unimpressed.

Two inseparable sisters face life on the outside with their husbands inside. Sharon is invited to a school reunion and sees it as an opportunity to get even.

Comedy with the Essex girls and their over-amorous neighbour. Sharon is happy being big, until the doctor tells her to lose weight.

Episode 6Money

Another trip to the home of the Chigwell sisters. Tracey plays broke, Sharon plays dumb, and Dorien plays fairy stepmother.
