Set on the idyllic Caribbean island of Saint Marie, crime drama `Death in Paradise' follows the ups and downs of the local police force, based at the Honoré Police Station. In the first two seasons, the force is led by sun hating British DI Richard Poole, who has been sent to the island to investigate the death of the previous detective inspector. The series later follows his successors, who have also transferred to the island, DI Humphrey Goodman, DI Jack Mooney, DI Neville Parker, and DI Mervin Wilson.
