Paranormal investigator Zak Bagans leads his team of co-investigators Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin at haunted locations both in America and abroad, interviewing locals about alleged hauntings before going face to face with supernatural entities. Each hour-long episode follows Bagans, Groff and Goodwin as they work to uncover the paranormal mysteries, and after piecing together the haunted history of each site, the team holds a dusk-to-dawn `lockdown' in an effort to obtain physical evidence of the paranormal and discover the truth.

Episode 1Serial Killer Spirits: H.H. Holmes Murder House

The crew investigate the home in Indiana where H. H. Holmes killed a young boy. The owner believes dark and sinister forces are controlling the property.(S01,E01)

Episode 2Serial Killer Spirits: John Gacy Prison

Zak and the crew go to Illinois in search of the spirit of infamous serial killer John Gacy. At the Old Joliet Prison, they hope to see the Killer Clown himself.(S01,E02)

Episode 3Serial Killer Spirits: Axe Killer Jail

The crew examine the Iowa jail that held Jake Bird, who may have killed 46 people. He allegedly put a deadly curse on those who convicted him.(S01,E03)

Episode 4Serial Killer Spirits: Ted Bundy Ritual House

The crew head to Bountiful, Utah, to investigate an abandoned house. Locals claim serial killer Ted Bundy murdered one of his victims here.(S01,E04)
